Glocknid (Dwarf Warrior) Comedy Fest War Chest

Glocknid (Dwarf Warrior) is a fierce and formidable dwarf warrior. She has fought dragons that shoot fire out of their eyeballs and other scary stuff, like orcs. Glocknid’s hobbies include fighting people and fatally stabbing them.
This New Zealand Comedy Festival - Glocknid is going to perform some stand-up comedy.
“Dwarves are not known for doing comedy. They are better known for other stuff, like having beards, fighting and their ability to withstand magical spells. There’s an old dwarf expression that goes ‘Dwarves don’t do comedy’. So this whole business has been pretty difficult for my family to accept. I’ve been banished from the mines for sixty years.”
UNFORTUNATELY Glocknid's purse has been drained by TOO MANY FIGHTS TO THE DEATH and she is looking for a merry band of charitable folk to help her with her quest. These funds will be used to fund a dwarf's greatest weapon on the battleground... her armour! Glocknid has been in contact with esteemed Armourers who can create some of the most audacious kick-ass armour that you have ever seen!
If you decide to aid her in her quest some great rewards will be in the offing - Jewellery! Tickets! Signed Photos! Did some mention a round of Glock-tails!? Yes that's right Glocknid has her own signature alcoholic beverage. She also has her own line of merchandising. What could be more 'fashion' than having a battle worn axe around your neck? That's right, NOTHING.
Glocknid (Dwarf Warrior) Tells Her Fleshy Public Of Her Greatest Ever Battle is presented not under duress by Big Lies Theatre Company – a newly formed theatre company that focuses on producing uniquely theatrical experiences (Nominated Best Newcomers NZ Fringe 2015). Written by Abby Howells (Winner Best Comedy Winner Dunedin Fringe 2012), directed by Alex Wilson, and performed enthusiastically by Glocknid, this one-dwarf-warrior-play is to be a once in a lifetime event - a dwarf warrior slaying a crowd not with her butchering fists but with her butchered attempts at comedy.

Friends, Glocknid's friend Flavia Wilson has prepared some excellent treasure for you and we wanted to show you a sneak peak of what is in store for you...
