New Zealand design needs to be part of the Design Frontiers international design history conference in Brazil 3-6 September. My paper - 'INCUBATION IN ISOLATION: how distance creates the difference in New Zealand product design' - has been accepted. It has been distilled from my award winning book NEW ZEALAND BY DESIGN. Now I need to get to Sao Paulo and deliver!


The budget for travel, accommodation, registration and expenses is $4,500.00 

I am seeking to raise a $3500* contribution from people who like the idea of New Zealand being included in leading-edge conversations about global design.

*Raising more that this would pay for some of my time and expertise which would be nice!
