Project: I am making the move to Auckland for many reasons, but a big one being so that I can busk. Music has always been my crutch and now I feel ready to share my passion and sound to everyone (whether they like it or not) through busking! The thing is, being a solo musician is hard, especially when most of your music depends on harmonies and multiple layers. This is where the pledging comes in!

Pledge for?: You would be pledging towards the costs of a Roland rc-50 live looper!
This is something I have wanted for many many many years to kick start my live performance career! It would mean so much to receive this gift from the supporting public, the ones whom I intend to play for.



Why should you fund me? I have made and loved music for years now and am now making the big but subtle and steady move to share with others. I want to uplift and connect with others through this love i have for music, and i promise a great sound! I"m not being greedy and asking for too much (although nobody on here is) but because the budget isn"t high, you will get to see the results and effect of your pledge super quick! It will be glorious :]

So far I have just come into the public with my music, and have made it to the finals of the Battle of the Bands 2012, so I will get there! I"m also currently in a competition held by amplifiernz to get some recordings and video production - so I"m definitely on the go!

Small Bio about me:
Hello wonderful people, my name is Mona Nourozi and I like to think of myself as a musician and an artist. I was born in Christchurch and have lived there most of my life apart from about 8 months in Wellington, and just now moved to Auckland. I am 20 years old (soon to be 21) and I am studying to become a clinical psychologist. My passions for psychology comes from my will to help others - which links into my art and music. I feel like i can uplift and connect to others through creative mediums and it has been a big part of my life for many many many years. I don"t usually like to plan, but if i ever had one, it would be to live in a way that it makes me, and really importantly, others happy.

Team: Just me, Mona. All alone, solo. Lone wolf. Bestest.



Budget: Its not a massive expense but it is one i alone can"t reach. The looper costs around $500US second hand (which i am extremely willing to do second hand).
