The Donor

My project is a short film called "The Donor". My name is Anthony and I am the director and writer of the film. This piece will be my final project before graduating in film studies from Natcoll Design and Technology in Christchurch. It"s a dark drama that will be an attempt at a dramatic, cinematic feel. The film is a culmination of two years hard work, blood, sweat, and tears.
The funding would be used to cover petrol, prop, refreshment, costume, and hire costs, as well as location costs, and trying to find a bath tub! The actors and crew will be donating their time free of charge. The final product will be part of my ultimate show reel, and will be the main feature in there.
SYNOPSIS
He"s known as the "Kidney King". He drugs his victims, takes a kidney from them, then makes a "killing" by selling them on the black market. Sarah seems like another easy target as he stumbles across her in the street. But it"s all been planned, and Sarah wishes to take just a little more from the "Kidney King" than he took from her brother as the cat becomes the mouse.
