About

100 Drawn Days - The Book!

Project 2014-10-13 21:58:39 +1300

100 days. 100 diary-style cartoons. One every day. This brave idea, my version of #100daysofhappiness, documents everything from domestic angst to child quotes and running geekery. "Where's the book?" demanded a succession of people as the project progressed. "We want a book! Booooook book book!"

Sure! I can do that. Voila: here is your chance to own all of the cartoons in a nice book, along with the random extra/s of your choice.

There will be a maximum of 100 books printed, so it's a very limited edition. The funds will pay for printing, paper stock, postage, visual diaries and some Staedler 0.5 markers. Maybe even watercolour paints if I get wild. A dollar from each book sold will be donated to the Mental Health Foundation of NZ via Malcolm Law's High 50 campaign, because wry cartoon examinations of life are all about supporting mental health.

Thanks for the support, and I look forward to putting the book together.

‪#‎32drawndays‬ day 16. Halfway through the book pre-orders, and over halfway through the books (happy dance). But if cartooning doesn't work out longterm, Alba has a sweet career path sorted that will support me in my old age.

#32drawndays day 4. (SHRUIIICKUUUUEIKK is how pterodactyls say '40 pledgers so far! This is exciting.')

A third or so of the 100 books have been bought, and the campaign is trending on the front page.

Hey Meluia! Did I mention you're all awesome?

hallelujah

Past the initial target on the first day - you guys rock!
