Having just won Senior Overall at the New Zealand Gold Guitar Awards 2014 and set to perform at the National Country Music Awards in Hamilton as one of the Horizon finalists Cam Luxton is a busy young man.

He is set to head into Nightshift Studios Christchurch to record a new album “Laid Back Man”. This will feature the song that won him the coveted Gold Guitar Award “Disappointing You” and also the self-penned title track “Laid Back Man”.

This is where you come in – Cam would like to have YOU be a part of this album and needs your support to be able to make this possible. Every dollar raised will go towards the recording costs, manufacturing and if we go over the required amount it will go into the promotion of the album.

BIO

Cam Luxton is a young man from Mid Canterbury that has been singing country music since he was 9 years old and has achieved so much, starting with winning Junior Overall in 2006 at the NZ Gold Guitar Awards. 

At age 12 Cam toured New Zealand, Australia and the UK with country artists such as the Topp Twins, Marian Burns, Tami Neilson and Hamilton Country Blue Grass Band. One of his biggest highlights is being the opening act for Kenny Rogers at the Vector Arena.

Since then he has recorded two CD's "No More Nights" and The Dog House" with the third ep "Laid Back Man" just being released this year. “I am looking forward to touring again this October on The Grand Olde Toppry around New Zealand.
