Help The UC Student Volunteer Army Be Part Of The Aspiring Leaders Forum 2014

Members of the UC Student Volunteer Army (SVA) executive committee would appreciate your support to enable them to attend The Aspiring Leaders Forum being held in Wellington in May 2014 - an annual four day event that brings together the brightest, most committed and courageous young leaders from across all sectors and towns in New Zealand.

Lucy McLeod (Vice-President) and Ruby Wallen (Events Manager) have been selected to represent the SVA at the forum; a fantastic opportunity for the SVA exec to continue to build its skill set and pass these skills onto current and future volunteers.

The Aspiring Leaders forum will bring together young people who are involved in the community and our nations leaders to discuss the ideas and philosophies of leadership. Most of all, it will foster and encourage young leaders to thrive in their field of engagement, and even try something new.

As a youth volunteer organisation, having the SVA involved would benefit both its internal and external operations and give its delegates an opportunity to meet a diverse group of young leaders.

We would appreciate your suuport for these two SVA exec memebrs to attend The Aspiring Leaders Forum.

We are looking for $200 each for the Forum fee and travel costs.
