Free Farms Of Pests

The Project:

I am looking at running a free service to rid lifestyle blocks/farms in the wider wellington area of pests and I need to update a few tools for the job.

I would like to raise funds to suppress my .308 rifle this cost's $600 to do and would spare my hearing and that of stock around the lifestyle blocks/farms that I have access to. It would also accurise my rifle in terms of removing a lot of recoil and sound.

This service is targeting Rabbits, Possums and Goats in the pest categories and I do hunt deer when I can.

I am looking to get a Hardy rifle suppressor, great product and NZ made!

I am currently training to be part of a charity boxing event to raise funds and awareness for the http://keytolife.org.nz/ and you can read a little more about this here http://www.itheavyhitters.co.nz/. I am also very much into the outdoors, hunting and fishing.

I have turned to pledgme for help to fund the upgrade and keep it viable as a free service. I have invested a lot into the tools I currently have. Also I am getting married and I would be paying a lot more than $600 in brownie points if I dipped into the wedding fund! (And she knows how to shoot a gun!) ;-P Please help me enjoy the sport of hunting and protecting farmland and stock from pests.

I do spend a lot of time at the range to ensure I can shoot accurately and humanely. I do not support animal cruelty. I take pride in respecting the animals and process.
