Tomica's Calligraphy Adventure To Japan

I have a scholarship to go to Japan in March and study Japanese Calligraphy (Nihon Shodo) at Nihon Shodo Geijutsu Senmon Gakko, a specialist calligraphy art school in Ito City, Shizuoka prefecture, about two and a half hours south of Tokyo.
It is going to be an amazing once in a lifetime experience, and as far as we know I will be the first westerner to go and study this beautiful, ancient art at one of these specialist schools. I will be going for two years and when i finish I will be the first New Zealand born Master Calligrapher.
My scholarship only covers my course fees so I am trying to raise my living costs for the two years, which is going to be about $50,000.
