*** this is a small weekly pledge for one year - your pledge will be repeated weekly for 52 weeks***
we are working towards travelling to western Kenya, to help build and develop the orphanage of Tang'neduk. this is a long-term project which we wish to be done in a caring and holistic manner, so we are putting our efforts into gaining more skills and experience, so we may offer meaningful value to the children who live there.
we recently had news that the orphanage is struggling to feed the children, and have been funding the food ourselves for the past few weeks. it will take us a little while time before we have enough skills and experience to offer the children there, and in the meantime, they are at risk of starving.
here you can see them eating food we have paid for - our contributions have helped greatly, though we cannot afford to continue them. we are asking you to contribute weekly, for one year, to the costs of the children's food
this pledge is for a small weekly amount [ $230nzd is enough to feed the 86 children healthy food for one week ], to which you may contribute $5, $7, $11, $19.. any amount you can spare each week to help feed so many young lives..
if the pledge is successful, you will be given New Zealand bank account details, into which you can set up a weekly automatic payment for your pledge, or deposit a lump sum for your contribution [ 52 x your pledge ].
at the conclusion of the year long pledge, we plan to be in Kenya, at Tang'neduk, being engaged and helping in the development of the amazing work they are already doing there.
we really hope you are able to join us in this journey of education, small-scale giving, and shared empowerment..

we met in the Netherlands whilst both living and working there, before moving to Austria to study. this is where the project began - in an architecture class we took together, designing a school in Africa. during the project we began to feel that it had too much potential to help people to stay on paper, so we are working towards developing our work into a valuable reality.
