YOUNG MENS ONLINE MAGAZINE

Project 2013-10-26 03:42:51 +1300

"Designed to be the most unique online experience culminating the best of Business, Style, Gaming, Tech, Music, Film and so much more."

Hi, my name is Joseph Daymond. I am an 18 year old aspiring entrepreneur and one day with the help of PledgeMe I hope to run a successful online magazine aimed at young popular culture "culminating the best of Business, Style, Gaming, Tech, Music, Film and so much more."

GOALS

1. To create an online popular culture experience and news site for the youth generation that represents all of what is popular today.

2. Promote entrepreneurship in not only New Zealand but more specifically in younger generations and to inspire them to build up their own start ups as I hope to do successfully. As a result I hope to encourage other young entrepreneurs in New Zealand to follow through with their dreams and ideas which will promote financial growth and prosperity within our country.

The site is up and functional but in order to continue the steady operation and day-to-day function as well as establish an online store which will be a a fantastic addition including many of the worlds most popular brands, we do require generous funding to realise our goals to do so. So far I have coded every detail of the site myself as a result of countless hours of self-tuition of basic CSS and HTML. All initial costs were paid in full by myself in order to get the site to this point now. I am now looking to expand and as I did mention here are several ways we plan to utilise the pledge funds:

1. Setup online store

2. Purchase clothing for store

3. Pay for the renewal of both hosting and domain plans

4. Various marketing schemes including through Facebook to generate public interest

5. Additional fees that come eg. PledgeMe fee, tax

Included are a couple screenshots of the site:

Above: An example of one of the many articles already on the site

As you know my intentions I hope you realise not only how important your pledge will be to myself but to my businesses ability to expand and one day become an inspiration to young entrepreneurs all over New Zealand. I have worked incredibly hard to not only teach myself basic coding but also write articles and other content for the site. I believe with your help I can fulfill your generous contribution to my growing business but help me realise my opportunity to inspire creativity and individuality.
