Birdie Collective

The Birdie collective is a group of Fine Arts students from Idea School, EIT Napier. We got together to raise funds for my post op care, as a kidney donor for one of my class mates. We will be having the operation on the 9th of October. Being a single mum and student with limited funds etc, I need help to pay for the help I will need around the house and with my child. I will also need better nutrition have extra health costs, the little things our public health system etc doesn't cover.
Unspent money raised will be donated, to help others.

Test all done and now I look like a vampire has has a snack on my arm lol.
This time in 14 days I will be getting packed and ready to go to Wellington.
I will be staying down there the night before the surgery. I'm hoping for good weather
to fly in again, as I will be flying alone this time and it will only be my 3rd time flying.

Well its our final cross matching on Monday. I've given so much blood in this process,
its been a long journey, but it will be so worth it to see Mike well again and off dialisis.
