Over the past year the people of Christchurch have really gone through a lot.
Being a small group based in Christchurch, we know this first hand. We want to help the people of Christchurch and give something back to the community.

We believe that access to the Internet these days is a fundamental human right.

With your help we can establish a city-wide wifi network using "mesh" networking technology.
Mesh networking gives us the ability to spread a high-speed Internet connection over a large area whilst minimizing cost and allowing us to cover as many people as possible.
We aim to first target the most popular areas of the CBD and then gradually expand out to other places (e.g. malls, beaches, etc) as time/money permits.

With your help we can get started deploying the network quickly and you can help us to fulfill our goal for the right to Internet access.
