Hi Everyone.

My name is Majic. I am a solo artist who is about record my very own debut album at the legendary Tuff Gong studios in Kingston Jamaica (the house that Bob Marley built). My brother Robbie, my dad Ropata, and I have spent the best part of the last 12 months fundraising to achieve this MAMMOTH task. From scratch we have paid in full for all of the recording equipment (IE) Keyboards, Mic, Guitars, computer. $10,000 pre production, $4,000 recording costs, and we have just purchased tickets to the value of $9,000 to fly to Jamaica.

We still have much to do but little time to do it in. 20 days to be exact, as we begin recording in exactly one month from today (April 13-15th 2012).  We have had so many well wishes and questions from people friends & family asking how best they can support, assist, and tautoko our Journey, and then a suggestion from one of our dear friends suggesting PLEDGE ME as an ideal vehicle to both assist us, and provide a way and an option for those who genuinely would like to show their support.

Although we had already targeted to raise $6,000 for mastering and recording costs before we depart on April the 8th ourselves. We would be blown away if there were others that would like to help us reach this target. So here is your chance, if you so desire. Check out our incentives, and exclusive offers, and if there is not something on here that takes your fancy, send us a message, and we will do our very best to accommodate.

Look forward to hearing from you all soon   "One Love & Positive Vibrations"

10 tracks in 5  intense as days....although I had to re-record 3, but you will no doubt be pleased that we did, as we were blessed to aquire the services of papa Ricky Chaplin   Rasta/Rootsman!    The album is unique, and I believe to be a first of its kind for Aotearoa NZ.

Thankyou so much for all of your support, and for believing in us, I am so looking forward to sharing these waiata/songs with you all, running workshops for others, and spending some quality time with others again.

You are all part of an elite group, that will always be remembered, and I will get straight to contacting each & everyone of you on my return.

Much Love & Blessings.

Ya Gurl   Maj:)    or Mej as Ricky would say.

x
