Symphony Smythe - rhymes with strife!
Symphony Smythe and the Baked Bean Birthday Party, is a story for readers aged 5+. Symphony wants a cool birthday party, like her friend Davy, but her mum's a health nut and she's worried its going to be broccolli dip instead of chocolate cake!
This early chapter book is illustrated with B&W pictures inside, and I would like to self-publish this book into an eBook format, as well a print-on-demand, print version. I have managed to save some money towards this project, but need another $750 to hire a professional editor, a book designer to do a great layout, and of course an illustrator to bring the story to life.
I am a writer for children, who would dearly love to create this book, so that children can enjoy the character I have created.

My PledgeMe project finishes tomorrow and thanks to the generosity of some AWESOME people, we have met the target amount!

Well, only four days left to go. I want to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to those pledged me. Thank you for showing your support and taking a chance on me. I won't forget it!
Its looking unlikely that I am going to meet the target (perhaps I was a little ambitious!!) but the good news for your pledgers is that your credit cards won't be charged, so you'll still have some $$ when the book comes out to buy one!
I have a draft illustration of my main character & she's looking really cute. I hope you like her.

Well, its week two of my PledgeMe campaign and a huge thank you to those who have pledged me.
The book is coming along well. I have an illustrator working on some concept drawings.
I will post them as soon as I have something.
My manuscript is getting closer to being a book everytime someone pledges. Thank you everyone!
