Sharon Miller: Funding needed to help me on my debut CD journey of my original works

Hi everyone. 

The album has now found it way to almost 100 homes. I can't believe it's finally happened. Thank you so, very much for all your support. Once again I could not have done this without you. You really are my heroes. 

Now I have 5 minutes to breath, I will also post a thanks to everyone from my music facebook page. Sharon Miller Music. 

I wanted to share this video that I did this morning, with you all. I was going to do 'Silent Night', however words started popping in my head yesterday and I finished this song this morning. It comes at a time quite close to home, with missing family who will not be home for Christmas. Please, please listen to the message and the song and spare a thought for those who are not necessarily having the best Christmas xxx

Well hello everyone. 

It's a peaceful Sunday morning here in Canterbury. 

Bathbombs as you know are all done and candles to do shortly for those who pledged for them. 

Everything is now out of mine and my husband (Glenn) hands now and all at the printers. CD's and cover's all getting their magic done. Very exciting. 

A massive thanks to Tracy McAra of Tracy Mac Photography for the awesome photos and my husband for all the graphic work. 

Not long to go now and I'll be sending you copies of the album :) If you pledged a digital download, you will be able to do that at the same time as everyone's CD's are sent out. 

Check out the cover of the album. Why the medieval theme you ask and not standing with my guitar....? The title of the album is 'Family Secrets', which is one of the tracks on there, to be honest I'm not sure what genre it fits in. Could be folk, could be classed as contemporary folk even. But it relates to things since time began, I'm a huge medieval fan and wanted something different. The production of this track is fantastic and I encourage you to listen to it with a good set of headphones so you pick up all the instrumentation. Or at least at a decent volume.  It was one of my novice songs and still one of my favourites 2yrs on. :)

Hi everyone

It's been a busy few weeks. 6 of the tracks have now been mixed and sounding amazing! I was in Wellington last weekend to sing at a festival and to have my photos taken. while I can't show you the official photo, I've attached another photo from the photo shoot. Now we have the photos we have a clear direction on the design, which we have also now started. 

So hopefully this weekend, I will be able to send though who have pledged for candles and bath bombs a fragrance list, in preparation of me making these very soon.

Wow. Thank you everyone for your amazing generosity and pledges. It is very humbling to me. 

The total went over by another $125 with a couple of last minute calls. The last one didn't quite make it onto the page, but is most definitely duly noted. 

So what's next. 

The songs are finished being recorded and next step is to collect them and take them to the studio that will be doing the mix and master. This may take a month or a wee bit more. 

My husband Glenn is currently working on all the graphics as he has that technology to do so and I am off to Wellington at the end of next month to get my photos taken. 

Once the master disc is back we send everything, tracks, graphics, ISRC codes and all to the printing company who print the disc which are replicated (not duplicated) and the covers and I get it all back. At this stage we are looking (fingers crossed) at December sometime. I will give you updates as things happen. 

Once I have the disc, you will receive those along with whatever else rewards you have selected all together. 

Again I can't thank you all enough for helping me on this amazing journey and making a dream come true :) xxx

Hi everyone. I've finally figured out how to do the proper updates. My apologies. We'll blame it on time change. 

THere's just over 24 hours to go. Wow 6wks of hard campaigning is almost at an end. What a journey!!

We are almost there, with $355 to go. I can't wait for 5pm tomorrow to be over and done with. Then let's get this project off to Mr Van Bussell for mixing & mastering snd to the printers. How exciting to have your own album in your hands. Thats going to be amazing. 

So many people to thank and mostly Phil Doublet and my husband Glenn for their faith and drive to get this done. Honestly the music is fantastic. Phil has taken out of my head, added to it and made each of my original songs sound outstanding. 

Thanks to all 51 of you so far 😊 from the absolute bottom of my heart. Could not have done this without you all xxx Fingers crossed for tomorrow 🤗

Oops I haven't had my coffee yet. But think I accidentally deleted all my thank you updates!!! That's ok last night I also forgot to put fragrance in a candle I was making. Never mind!! There's only 2 days to go!! Yay. We are definitely getting there.

Thank you to my latest pledges. I will do another full list later as I'm not sure if you got my last update or not with everyone's names.
