Kamp Kaitiaki #1 went so well that are now ready to kick off Kamp Kaitiaki 2#!!.
We are planning our second of five social development camps for youth who reside rurally in the Far North area of the Doubtless Bay.
We have already run a successful first camp which we could not have achieved without the financial support of Pledges from Pledge Me and human resource support by a community group called Lifehack. Also to acknowledge the social enterprise program delivered by Akina who accepted me onto their program where Kamp Kaitiaki was structured into what it is so far.
We want to take the girls to the next theme of "Be Active". We plan to facilitate the girls through some workshops where they will build onto some seedling ideas from Kamp Kaitiaki #1 and prepare themselves to put into action what they learnt from there.
We have planned for the next "Kamp" to be Friday 8th- Sunday 10th April
