Winter Solstice Party With The Balkanistas (Invite Only)

We are having a party because we need one. There are a few reasons (some milestones, some farewells, a 60th, the desire to dance). It is on the 12th July - which is the first full moon after the solstice and falls within Matariki. Auspicious.

We thought it would be lovely to have live music in the depths of winter and The Balkanistas (who are a party in themselves) are available to play for us.

We can pay for the hall and other bits and pieces; we just need some funds for the band. The Balkinistas fee for this gig would be $1,000 (there are 20+ of them).

We think about 10 bucks per person will do it, but if you feel inspired to put in more, any money left over will go to the fine people at Kids Can. http://www.kidscan.org.nz/ways-to-donate

Note, this is an 'invite only' party due to the space restrictions in the hall, please don't pledge unless you have been invited to attend.
