Kia Ora Whanau!

What a lovely couple days it has been in Auckland! Long-term forecast for this event is looking like sunshine, so that's great news, but just incase, don't forget that we have you covered with an indoor venue booked right next door just incase. Also, we just added Lothlorien Feijoa Wine to the bar menu, which we will be selling by the bottle for the tiny price of $13! Lush times.

If you have people that are wanting to come along to this gig but have not yet Pledged, now is the time to get hustling. As you know, this event will ONLY go ahead if the full target is met and that is the time your cards will be charged.

Unity in action. Vibes and oneness,

$5 Beers & Offline Crowdfunding

25/02/2014 at 2:29 PM

Greetings y'all! We have an exciting update for y'all.

We just picked up 144 bottles of sponsored beer from Boundary Road Brewery that we will be selling at this here event for the measly price of $5!

What's even cooler about this bar situation is that for every single bottle you buy 100% of the money will go toward funding a project as voted by you.

Right now, we are thinking those project options could be:

1. A People Powered Dance Floor

2. A Cycle Powered Cinema

3. A Cycle Powered Soundsystem

4. A Cycle Powered Smoothy Maker

But we're open to suggestions! So if you have any other awesome ideas, holla at us on [email protected]

Otherwise, check out the video above to see what all this cycle-powered business is about, and here's a photo of the beers we just picked up so you can visualise the deliciousness that awaits :)

Kia Ora Pledgers!

Thank you for all the support so far. We (Our PLACE Events) made it into Idealog! Check out the article here: http://www.idealog.co.nz/blog/2014/02/our-place-events-laura-connell-rapira

And just for fun, here is a picture to remind you of why we are putting on this gig in the first place, to raise some money to help organisations like Generation Zero ensure we have a healthy planet into the future, so we can all continue to enjoy deliciousness.

Nga mihi,
