The Baking Fairy Recipe Book
Project 2013-09-20 23:23:47 +1200
The Baking Fairy legend started with care packages sent to my niece Jasmin when she started at university in Dunedin.
Since then, packages and baked gifts have been given to many, many people and the recipes included here have been refined over the years and have proven themselves popular.
The book is A5 and spiral bound so it will stay open while you bake.
It has 46 recipes ranging from the South Island classic, the good ol' Cheese Roll, to the much requested Citrus Slice.
I have wanted to write this book for years, to be able to share the recipes as well as my baking.
The recipes are written to make them beginner friendly and so they don't need lots of equipment to get started.
The cost is going to be approx $2200 for printing costs, freight, etc, which I am hoping I can subsidise with some sponsorship and pre-sales, as I am finding it a struggle to find all the funds up front. I am offering several rewards, including some tasty ones!
The book will be on sale on my felt.co.nz shop and at the craft markets where I sell my fibre crafts.

Its so amazing to have gone over target with still a week to go ! Thank all my pledgers so much!
Its great to have the support as the printing costs have increased from the last provisional quote to the recent final quote by nearly a third, so these pledges will make a huge difference as will any that folks still might make.
