Broken Glass Charity Gala Premiere

Paramount Pictures NZ & Seriously Entertainment present the Charity Gala Premiere of "Broken Glass" plus Special Screening of J.J. Abrams' "Super 8".
On White Ribbon Day, Monday 25th November 2013 we are holding the Charity Gala Premiere of our short film "Broken Glass" at Wellington's The Embassy Theatre in benefit of Shine; New Zealand's largest domestic abuse charity organisation who also endorsed the film at script stage.
"Broken Glass" is a fantasy/drama short film by award-winning filmmaker Chaz Harris and was shot in Wellington last year on the RED Epic camera (also used for The Hobbit/The Great Gatsby/Elysium). The film was funded through a combination of independent financing, sponsorship and crowdfunding.
The film follows a young boy being bullied at school and with an abusive father at home who encounters a mysterious creature that soon changes his life forever.
Rather than deducting overhead costs from public ticket sales, we want to ensure 100% of that revenue can go directly to Shine. As such, we have set aside a limited number of seats for fundraising to cover venue hire and other costs such as printing, advertising etc. The minimum we need to raise for this is $3000 but any more would be hugely helpful and used to further promote or enhance the event and provide further fundraising opportunities.
All money raised through collections on the night will be donated to the White Ribbon Day Campaign along with money raised from a simultaneous fundraiser screening taking place in Gisborne the same night.
